Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume Review.

Daisy Dream needs no introduction, does she?! The bottle alone speaks volumes - with it's absolutely beautiful glass bottle, mirrored lid and showered in 3D white daisies, it's another top design from Marc Jacobs. I'm so happy to have Daisy Dream in my life as not only does it look beautiful on my bedside table, but it smells so beautiful too. I find it incredibly hard to describe a fragrance to you via a blog post, however the basics are that the fragrance itself is light and airy with mixtures of both floral and fruity scents. Daisy Dream is inspired by the spirit of daisies and clear blue skies and has top notes of blackberry, grapefruit and pear, heart notes of jasmine, lychee and blue wisteria and finally it's base notes of white woods, coconut water and musks.
Daisy Dream is fresh, girly and subtle enough to become my new daily go-to fragrance. As I've mentioned not only do I get to admire the pretty bottle from afar, but I get to smell pretty too! I have never been one for a 'heavy' perfume which can perhaps be too obvious or noticeable, I prefer a lighter and sweeter scent which is just what Daisy Dream is. Sadly, I do have one negative to report. With it being such a light fragrance, I have found that it doesn't last an awful long time on my skin. I definitely need to top this up through the day and this of course results in me using more product than I would usually have to. However, I do think it's the perfect fresh and floral fragrance - Daisy Dream is my new favourite!

Have you tried Daisy Dream? x

  1. I haven't tried it, but I keep eyeing it up whenever I see it. I'm a bit reluctant too because of the price tag, but it might be pretty high up on my Christmas 2014 list! The bottle is adorable too xx

  2. I've been trying to decide whether to re-purchase Daisy or try Daisy Dream instead. I love the bottle and I think it smells like a more summery version of Daisy but like you said it's a lighter more fruity scent. I'm still torn as I love the original and I think that might be better for Autumn/Winter, maybe I should just get both!! xx

  3. The bottle is stunning! I love the original daisy so I need to give this one a sniff soon!

I have to get it... its just so pretty.
Nice you don't have one negative about it very reassuring

  5. I got Daisy Dream on Monday for my birthday and it is honestly as amazing as everyone says it is. It smells gorgeous and you'd think with it being a small bottle that it wouldn't last long but two sprays lasts me all day!
Couldn't find a single fault with it!

  6. I had to try this because every single blogger seems to be in love with it, but I think I prefer my Juicy Couture perfumes...

  10. I tried this the other week and found that it's very similar to the original Daisy, just a touch lighter and fresher. That being said, I think it's a really lovely fragrance and I probably prefer the Daisy Dream over Daisy. Plus the bottle is by far my favourite from the Marc Jacobs perfume range. xxx
